Can You Help

If you ever pop into the church and would like to support financially but have no change.  Not a problem,  We now have a contactless card payment system called "Good Box".  You will find the box at the back of the church and donations can be sent from £1 to £30.    It's quite simple to use and instrucitons are on the side.  Whatever the amount however small .... your help is much appreciated.

Plans to update Carleton Rode All Saints Church have now started in earnest.

A new heating systems was installed and commissioned in December 2016 and the ‘ringing chamber’ floor was lowered to enable easy access for wheelchair users in 2017.

A team of local volunteers, under the supervision of Reg Love, have  recently completed the removal of the pews to create a multipurpose area in both side north and south aisles.  It is envisaged that this area will be used for a village history display, exhibitions, meetings and a children’s area. (see the photo below)

The next phase of our re-ordering plan is to install new kitchen and toilet facilities (both of which are badly needed).   We are currently drawing up detailed plans for the work and hope to gain Diocesan approval for this work this year.  The the really hard work will start in fund raising and apply for grants.

This is where we need your help.

We are looking for local builders or trades people who may be able to help in sourcing material at cost price and/or help to install the kitchen or toilet suite.

If you think you can help or know someone that could, please contact Pat Graham on 01953 860294 or email her at [email protected]
